Ingredients
  

  • Boneless chicken thighs or breasts Italian seasoning kosher salt black pepper garlic powder olive oil bell peppers onions provolone cheese hoagie rolls butter Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • 1 Place chicken in the freezer for 30 to 40 minutes to firm it up then slice into thin strips2 Season chicken with Italian seasoning kosher salt black pepper and garlic powder let rest at room temperature3 Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat sear chicken until cooked through about 3 to 4 minutes total4 Remove chicken set aside sauté peppers and onions in the same skillet until tender about 5 to 6 minutes5 Add chicken back to the skillet mix with vegetables place provolone slices on top cover until melted6 Toast hoagie rolls spread with butter layer cheese and chicken mixture inside wrap in foil let rest for 1 to 2 minutes

Notes

For extra flavor add a dash of Worcestershire sauce during cooking Use fresh bakery rolls for an authentic taste Freeze chicken before slicing for clean cuts
