  • 1 cup Butter (room temperature) 226g
  • 1 ¼ cups Brown Sugar 250g
  • ½ cup Granulated Sugar 100g

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  • Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the dough.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized dough portions and place on the prepared baking sheet. Space them out to allow for expansion during baking.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are still soft. Allow to cool on a wire rack.

Notes

To store Crookies and keep them soft, place them in an airtight container. Add a slice of bread to absorb excess moisture and maintain softness. You can also freeze the dough to bake fresh Crookies later.
