Easy Chicken Kofta is a flavorful Middle Eastern dish made with spiced ground chicken, shaped into patties or skewers, and grilled or pan-fried to perfection.

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion finely grated
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, parsley, and lemon juice. Mix well until combined.
Shape the mixture into oval patties or around skewers if grilling.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook the koftas for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
If grilling, preheat the grill to medium heat and cook for about 4 minutes per side.
Serve hot with tzatziki, hummus, or a side of rice and salad.
