Instructions
 

  • Grate the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses and prepare the jalapeños and spices.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, heat the evaporated milk but do not let it boil.

  • Stir in the garlic powder, cumin, and chopped jalapeños. Adjust seasoning to taste and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add cooked chorizo or ground beef. If you prefer a milder version, use fewer jalapeños or substitute them with bell peppers.
