Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Quick Oats
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, oats, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are just combined—avoid over-mixing.
  • Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf shape.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  • Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a side salad.

Notes

For a healthier version, you can use ground turkey instead of beef. Feel free to experiment with adding vegetables such as grated carrots or bell peppers to the mix for extra flavor and nutrients.
