Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces Fish Fillets (Cod, Salmon, Red Snapper, or Haddock) fresh or thawed
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil for drizzling or marinade
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt & Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (Parsley, Dill, or Thyme) chopped
  • 1/4 cup Optional: Crushed Breadcrumbs or Parmesan for herb crust

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish or tray with foil or parchment paper depending on the texture desired.
  • Pat fish fillets dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic, and lemon juice. Drizzle with olive oil.
  • Top with chopped herbs or breadcrumb mixture if using. Lay lemon slices or garnish herbs on top for flavor.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork (internal temp 145°F).
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, quinoa, or salad for a complete meal.

Notes

For lean fish like cod or haddock, foil helps retain moisture. For oily fish like salmon, parchment gives a crisper exterior. Try various marinades or herb crusts to suit your taste.
