Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Dark Chocolate For the base layer
  • 1 lb White Chocolate For the top layer
  • 1/2 cup Candy Canes Crushed

  • Begin by melting the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted.
  • Once melted, pour the dark chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it into an even layer. Let it set for about 15 minutes.
  • While the dark chocolate is setting, melt the white chocolate in the microwave and stir in peppermint extract if desired.
  • Pour the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate and spread it evenly, creating a contrast of layers.
  • Immediately sprinkle the crushed candy canes over the white chocolate layer and gently press them in to ensure they stick.
  • Place the sheet in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until the bark is fully set. Once firm, break it into pieces and serve!
